About the Author

With a degree and PhD from the University of Cambridge Steven Plunkett was Keeper of Archaeology at Ipswich Borough Museum and Exhibition researcher and Guide Book author for the Sutton Hoo project. He lives in Ipswich and is on the Council of the Suffolk Archaeological Institute, as well as the Ipswich Archaeological Trust Committee. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
